My 10 year old son and I stayed in the Loft for a close few day get away during his spring break. The pull out couch is the same one we have at home and he enjoys sleeping on it! We loved the beauty and peacefulness of the Loft. There is nothing I would ask to be changed. There wasn't anything much going on in town as far as festivals and such, this was perfect for us. No traffic, quick trips to Young's and Clifton Mills. We even ventured to West Liberty to check out Ohio Caverns. So easy to "check in & out", so private but right in the middle of everything, so quiet, so comfortable, host are very responsive, so clean and efficient! The weather didn't quite cooperate with our hiking plans so we got to enjoy the place even more. We really wished we could have stayed another night. We truly hoped that we were as enjoyable guests are your place was accommodating. Already trying to plan another trip back! Please add me to any future mailing lists or communications about the Loft.

My husband and I just stayed in the loft to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first trip to Yellow Springs and I CANNOT wait to go back and stay in this exact spot again! The loft was comfortably furnished with all of the amenities that you need to enjoy yourself. The location couldn't be any better - quick to walk to every thing in Yellow Springs and just a short drive to Clifton Gorge Reserve, Brandeberry Winery & John Bryan State Park. Ted/Karen were so easy to rent from and Ted mentioned that the loft is booked out quite a while... i'm not surprised at all and highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great getaway for a weekend or longer!

The Loft provides the feeling of a secluded retreat but it's literally steps from all the shops in Downtown Yellow Springs, from the Y.S. Brewery, and from the trail. Everything is nicely designed/decorated; it's a mix of homey and modern/industrial chic. You get a large studio apartment with high, vaulted ceilings -- bedroom area, couch and chairs with cable TV, a dining nook that's good for doing work, full kitchen (including coffeemaker), bathroom with modern shower. Light-filled, as there are windows on all sides. Climate control, WiFi. Owners are friendly and responsive to requests.
Yellow Springs is a charming, progressive, and eccentric town that's extremely lively for a place of its size. The Loft's owners provide lots of information about happenings in town, including the rotating food truck schedule for the popular brewery next door, and the arthouse movie theater in town. The heart of Downtown starts 1/2 block from the Loft, so it's incredibly easy to walk to restaurants, bars, boutique shops, local grocery, etc.

A loft in the Springs is the best vacation rental I have stayed at, period. Lovely space, terrific hosts- everything was great!
